Wednesday, October 14: 7:00 pm: Droughtsand Downpowers is a free webinar presented by Nith Valley Ecoboosters. This summer was one of the hottest and driest on record. The infrequent rain came in downpours. The webinar will focus on small changes we can make that collectively make big impacts when managing our properties and community spaces as we experience more severe weather events. Becca Robinson of REEP House will discuss how to make your yard more 'rain smart' and how to make our community flood resilient. Saturday, October 24, 9:00 am to noon,Let's Tree Wilmot a collaborative event with Wilmot Horticultural Society, Rotary Wilmot, and Nith Valley EcoBoosters will be planting trees in Scott Park in New Hamburg.
