We are grateful to the original stewards of Turtle Island who have lived here since time immemorial. We acknowledge the land known as Wilmot is in the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and Mississauga peoples and that many other First Nations, Métis and Inuit people make their homes here. We respect the Dish with One Spoon Treaty where we peacefully share and protect the land, waters and its resources while only using what we need. The Wilmot Horticultural Society invites us to take our responsibility for the earth and its inhabitants as a guiding principle.
